These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Be Still mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the App.
Be Still is a Christian-based, voice-first counselling and wellness application that provides AI-generated, Scripture-based encouragement and conversational support. The App is intended to support emotional and spiritual well-being; however, it does not provide medical advice, psychiatric treatment, or licensed professional counselling. Your use of the App is at your own discretion and risk.
To use the App, you must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
The App allows you to interact with an AI voice companion by providing voice or text inputs. You retain ownership of the content you provide; however, by using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and use your inputs solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and maintaining the App. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or inappropriate purposes, including but not limited to transmitting offensive content, attempting to exploit or misuse the system, or violating any applicable laws.
While we strive to provide meaningful, faith-aligned responses, the AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every situation. You acknowledge that responses generated by the App are automated and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice. In situations involving medical, psychological, or emergency concerns, you should seek assistance from qualified professionals or emergency services immediately.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Be Still and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to emotional distress, reliance on generated content, or loss of data. The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in behavior that may harm the App, its users, or its integrity.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
